What?! It's Valentine's Day?
I know, I know, you've probably heard the history surrounding Valentine's Day. But, read it again, why not. It's interesting and kinda cute. There are a few interpretations of how this day really came to be. Did you know that there were three Saint Valentines involved in these stories, and all of them were martyred?
So, this day. Yeah, people have strong feelings about this day. Some love it. Some hate it. I've never really minded it. It's a "reminder day." We think a little more about the people we love and that would always be a good thing.
We don't even have to get all commercialized about it. :)

See, all of the St. Valentine's were martyred. That means that, in reality, we celebrate a day of death.
Still, you're right, it is a "remembering day." Odd though that people buy and send Roses instead of Forget-Me-Nots...
Forget-me-nots would work on the "Day of Death." ;)
You know, in Mexico, they actually have that day.
